Most of the applicants are employed with international companies, others are self-employed and freelancers, with the most popular sectors being IT, management and marketing. The majority of applicants earn an average income of €60,000 per year and are qualified to degree level, signifying that Malta is attracting quality applicants, who will continue to contribute to the economy.
