A delegation of more than sixty entrepreneurs including property developers, estate agents and financial consultants, working in real estate investments, was welcomed on the Malta Pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai by Malta Enterprise. On the trip organised by Property Malta Foundation, joined the Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Planning, Aaron Farrugia and Parliamentary Secretary for Environment, Land and Construction, Chris Agius.
Malta’s Ambassador to the UAE, Maria Calleja Camilleri and Malta’s Commissioner for Expo 2020, Anthony Tabone, welcomed the delegates on the pavilion and wished them the very best work and contact building from the region, as well as the 192 countries present at the World Expo.
On behalf of Malta Enterprise, CEO Kurt Farrugia, thanked those present for their interest and support, whilst confirming this was the biggest delegation of Maltese entrepreneurs that visited the pavilion so far.
On the Ambassador’s invitation, the delegation also had the opportunity to visit Malta’s embassy in Abu Dhabi, and back in Dubai, they also attended Cityscape Exhibition. This annual property show with various regional and international exhibitors has now returned to a live format after an absence of two years, brought about by the pandemic.
At Expo 2020 as well as at Cityscape, members of the delegation could discover and see up close, the very latest and future practices in development, particularly in carbon neutral development and sustainability, as well as make contacts and private meetings to build new opportunities of business.
