Located in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, between Italy and North Africa the Maltese Islands (Malta, Gozo and Comino) boast a noble history which dates back 7,000 years.

The pre-historic temples of the Islands are testament to the archipelago’s role in the region, with the main civilisations of the Mediterranean basin having established themselves in Malta, for a period of time. The archipelago’s advantageous geographic position and its impressive natural harbour at the mouth of Valletta and the three cities has served as a strategic trading and military post.
